1954 – 1959 Vintage Fender Stratocaster Pickguard with metal shield
Original pickguard for a 1954 – 1959 Fender Stratocaster. There is a crack and a small part is missing near the slot for the switch. A thin layer of plastic (0,5 mm) is glued underneath to stabilize the pickguard. As it is loose at some points, I assume that it can be removed without any problems.
I got the pickguard in this condition about 20 years ago.
A metal shield is added, though I cannot guarantee it is original. It was sold to me as original, however.
