I bought this Kramer 450G in 1990 in Montreal, Canada. It was already modded when purchased, however it came with a Kahler clone.
I recently replaced the Kahler clone with an ambidextrous authentic Kahler 2300. The new 2300’s can be played in tremolo mode or fixed bridge mode.
It also comes with 2 Gibson T-Top Humbuckers manufactured in 1980.
The input jack does not crackle when played right handed, however it does crackle when play left handed. If wiggled a bit, it doesn’t crackle at all.
It has great intonation. If interested, I can add a video to showcase.
I just bought new guitars and need to let this one go, which is a bummer since this my childhood guitar and you’ll never ever find a modded 450G like this.
