Made in the famous Matsumoku factory in the mid 70's. These guitars came out with many many different brand names on the headstock, the Westminster ones are an odd rarity! Perfect for a high quality Japanese guitar that'll confuse the hell out of the audience or your mates with it's odd name. Maple neck, Kluson-style vintage tuners, 70's style headstock.

With the poor quality coming out of the Fender factory in the 1970's, buying a Japanese guitar from this period can be a much better choice. The Japanese factories were producing high quality instruments throughout the 1970's, whereas the cost-cutting measures that CBS had implemented on Fender had a huge impact on the quality and consistency of their instruments. If you're after a vintage Fender-style guitar from the 1970's then you'll save money and gain quality in buying a Japanese guitar like this!
