The Universal Audio Apollo x6 Heritage Edition is a 16x22 Thunderbolt 3 audio interface built for professional studio work, offering 16 simultaneous inputs and 22 simultaneous outputs across balanced XLR mic inputs, balanced TRS line inputs, Hi-Z instrument inputs, ADAT, and S/PDIF. At its core is UAD HEXA Core processing - six DSP chips delivering 50% more power than previous Apollo generations - enabling near-zero latency tracking through UAD plug-ins. Conversion is handled at 24-bit/192 kHz with Dual-Crystal Clocking, and the D/A stage achieves a dynamic range of up to 129 dB. Its two Unison-enabled mic preamps authentically emulate classic hardware from Neve, API, SSL, Manley, and others. The Heritage Edition adds 34 UAD plug-ins in total, including Pultec, Fairchild, and Teletronix collections, and the unit supports native 5.1 surround monitoring and selectable +24 dBu headroom for professional console compatibility - all in a 1U rack-mount chassis.
