About this listing
In stock and ready to ship! Pictures of the actual guitar! Authorized PRS dealer! SpecificationsBorn from over two decades of collaboration between PRS and David Grissom, the DGT (David Grissom Trem) is a refined evolution of the legendary McCarty. It’s a player’s guitar through and through, built for expression, tone and pure musical joy!Custom DGT pickups & semi-hollow mojoPowering this PRS stunner is a pair of custom-voiced DGT pickups with dual volume controls and a push/pull tone pot for coil-splitting goodness. The result? A versatile, vintage-inspired tone that oozes character. And thanks to its semi-hollow design, this guitar sings with extra resonance and dynamic response. It’s lively, open and full of soul.David Grissom on the PRS DGT Semi-Hollow“For me, the DGT Semi-Hollow has been a super versatile companion to my solidbody DGTs. The semi-hollow design has a bit warmer top end, a little less bottom than the solid body, and I can get more controlled feedback. I’m glad it’s officially joining the PRS lineup after a couple of successful limited runs.”— David GrissomFEATURESSemi-hollow body design: Adds extra resonance and warmth to your tone, giving you that lively, open sound that just feels more expressive. It’s perfect for players who want a guitar that breathes with every note.High-gloss nitro finish: Not only does it look stunning, but this traditional finish lets the wood resonate freely for maximum tonal richness. Plus, it’ll age beautifully over time — like a fine vintage guitar.Jumbo frets: Big frets mean effortless bends and smooth playability. Whether you’re digging into blues licks or soaring leads, you’ll love the extra control and comfort you get.PRS Patented Tremolo, Gen II: Rock-solid stability meets silky-smooth action. Dive bombs, subtle vibrato — whatever your style, this tremolo keeps you in tune and feeling confident.PRS Phase III locking tuners: Quick string changes and bulletproof tuning stability. These tuners are a gigging guitarist’s best friend!Included hardshell case: Travel in style and keep your pride and joy safe.SPECIFICATIONSBodyTop Wood: MapleTop Carve: ViolinBody Wood: MahoganyBody Construction: Semi-Hollow with Single F-HoleNeckNeck Wood: Flame mapleNeck Construction: One-PieceNeck Shape: DGTNeck/Body Assembly Type: SetFingerboard Wood: RosewoodFingerboard Radius: 10”Fingerboard Inlay: BirdsFret Wire: PRS Jumbo FretsNumber of Frets: 22Neck Width at the Nut: 1 21/32”Neck Width at the Body: 2 7/32”Scale Length: 25”Truss Rod: PRS Double-ActingHeadstock Logo: Signature, DecalHardwareBridge: PRS Patented Tremolo, Gen IITuners: PRS Phase III Locking Tuners with Faux Bone ButtonsHardware Type: NickelNut: PRSTruss Rod Cover: “DGT”ElectronicsTreble Pickup: DGTBass Pickup: DGTControls: Two Volume Controls with Push/Pull Tone Control & 3-Way Toggle Pickup SwitchMiscellaneousFinish Type: High-Gloss NitroStrings: PRS Signature, 11-49 (with a Plain “G”)Case: Hardshell Case (Included)DescriptionThe PRS DGT Semi-Hollow takes serious inspo from one of David Grissom’s own Private Stock treasures.
