Lovies Guitars is excited to present this 1995 Martin Custom HD-28S 12-Fret Slotted Acoustic Guitar finished in Natural. This custom Martin combines the powerful voice of a dreadnought with the comfortable feel and vintage-inspired character of a 12-fret slotted-headstock design. The HD-28S platform is known for its rich projection, balanced response, and classic Martin tone, making this a particularly desirable example for players who appreciate traditional acoustic construction.
The 12-fret dreadnought design gives this Martin a comfortable playing feel while producing a full, resonant voice with plenty of warmth, depth, and projection. The guitar is equipped with an LR Baggs Element pickup, making it equally well suited for recording, stage performance, or unplugged playing.
This guitar is all original (OG) aside from the added LR Baggs Element pickup and comes complete with its Original Hardshell Case (OHSC). There has also been a minor binding repair near the end pin with a finish drop fill.
Condition: 9/10 - Excellent. Features a few tiny dimples on the top, a few light pick scuffs, and a minor binding repair near the end pin with finish drop fill. There are a few dings on the headstock and minor marks on the neck that are not deep enough to feel while playing. The fingerboard shows minor wear, while the frets remain in great condition. Overall, a very clean and well-maintained vintage Martin with excellent playability and honest cosmetic wear.
