About this listing
1983 Gibson Les Paul Spotlight Special – Antique Sunburst
Rare 1983 Gibson Les Paul Spotlight Special in Antique Sunburst.
This guitar has been played and enjoyed over the years and should be considered a player's instrument rather than a collector-grade example.
The guitar features a beautifully figured maple top with strong flame/quilt figuring and retains its original character and vintage appeal.
Condition
Headstock repair carried out many years ago (exact date unknown).
Repair has remained stable for as long as I have owned the guitar.
General player wear throughout consistent with a 40+ year old instrument.
Various scratches, dents, finish marks and bruises as shown in the photos.
Finish wear and small chips around body edges.
Gold hardware shows age-related wear and tarnishing.
Non-original hard case included.
Notes
Please study all photos carefully as they form part of the description.
This is not a mint or collector-condition example. It is an honest, well-played vintage Spotlight Special with a long-stable headstock repair and normal wear expected from an instrument of this age.
The guitar is sold as described and I am happy to provide additional photos or answer any questions.
