This US-made electric guitar offers all the hallmarks of a proper Strat: a solid alder body, a traditional maple neck and the classic Strat colour palette. However, the fact that the instrument can also effortlessly handle more modern high-gain sounds is demonstrated by its pickup setup, consisting of a Fender V-Mod III humbucker and two V-Mod III single-coils. It also features a modernised Fender 2-Point Synchronised Tremolo, which handles shimmering pitch bends with robustness and tuning stability. Includes a hardshell case!Powerful HSS configurationFor the HSS version of the Fender American Professional Stratocaster, Fender has opted for two V-Mod III single-coils from the standard model and supplemented these with an additional V-Mod III humbucker in the bridge position. The humbucker, with its eye-catching zebra-striped finish, packs a powerful punch and is up to almost any challenge, right through to the searing high-gain sounds of modern metal. However, if you wish to draw out its gentler qualities, you can simply use the push/push function on the tone control to switch to coil-split mode for airy, clear single-coil tones.Modernised 2-Point TremoloTo upgrade the Stratocaster’s classic vintage tremolo system for professional use, the Fender American Professional Stratocaster HSS features a modernised Fender 2-Point Tremolo. The tremolo’s cold-rolled steel block lends the instrument’s fundamental character additional sustain, whilst the ClassicGear Radial Bent-Steel Saddles offer improved options for adjusting string action and intonation. The hardware specification of the Fender American Professional Stratocaster HSS is rounded off by six staggered cast/sealed tuners.
