Released in 1971, the Fender Musicmaster Bass was a more affordable alternative to the Fender Mustang Bass. With its 30-inch short scale, it is appreciated by guitarists and players with smaller hands. The maple neck features a rosewood fingerboard with a 7.25" radius. This example has clearly seen some action: the control knobs have been replaced, as has the bridge with a Badass Bass Bridge, the pickguard is cracked, and there is also a paint touch-up on the top. At 3.57 kg on our scale, the weight remains very reasonable for this great player!
