Well-preserved tenor banjo by Rettberg&Lange, New York, model Orpheum No. 3.
Except for the tailpiece and armrest, the instrument appears to be original. The serial number 4597 is stamped on the dowel stick. The 17-fret neck is straight, the neck angle is still acceptable. Dark-finished maple neck and body with the typical filigree inlays and decorations. The heel of the neck is carved.
The instrument is strung in CGDA and ready to play!
Length 79 cm, scale length 53.5 cm, nut width 26 mm, 11 1/8" skin.
Signs of age and use such as scratches and scuffs. The instrument comes in a vintage case (handle defective).
