Greco by Fujigen Super Real SA-900 ES-335-style with Super Real Hard Case
Fairly rare and collectible Greco SA-900 with original hard case. Made by the Fujigen company in Japan in 1981 for the Kanada Shokai Company which owns the Greco brand.
There were a range of models but SA-900 and SA-1200 were the nicest of the lot and have the best woods and pickups. The SA-900 is based on a 1961 ES-335 with the shorter pickguard. Please do some internet searches on "Greco", "Fujigen" and the Super Real series from the early 1980's.
- Medium neck profile 21.3 mm measured behind 1st fret, 24.3 measured behind the 11th.
- Nitro finish
- Maple/mahogany/maple top, Spruce/maple center block.
- Birdseye top and back
- Medium profile neck
- Fret edge binding
- Maxon PU-2 pickups
- Comes with original Super Real hard case. The case has a bit of wear and some of the tolex is coming loose. See the pictures on Flickr.
- Small chip in finish on corner of headstock, easy to repair.
