Cost-effective Japanese-made 5-string active bass.
Beautiful ash body with burnished finish, bolt-on maple neck with binding. Specially designed ESP CL-P-J5-2 pickups are installed.
The master volume is a switch pot that can be switched between active mode and passive mode by pulling up the knob. The outermost two knobs are dual-axis knobs, the inner one for treble and the outer one for bass boost and cut. Mid and gain can be adjusted with the trimmer inside the cavity. Tone also works, allowing for even finer adjustment.
In passive mode, the 2-axis knob is canceled. The tone section can be switched between two different capacitors of 0.022ƒÊF and 0.047ƒÊF, and the knob can be pulled up to make the tone more mildly effective.
This is a high-cost-performance model with a high level of perfection that can withstand professional use, but at an affordable price range.
The string bushing on the 5th string has been replaced.
There is a screw hole under the front pickup where a finger rest was installed.
There is a scratch on the pickguard. There is a small clear paint chip near the back panel. There are other light scratches and dings throughout, and some signs of use.
The neck is slightly twisted, but has been cleaned, string replaced, rod adjusted, octave adjusted, string height adjusted, and mortised, so there are no problems with playing condition.
