The DS Custom Octanaut is a hand-built recreation of the legendary Dan Armstrong Green Ringer, one of the most unique and musical analog octave-up circuits ever made. Known for its raw, harmonically rich upper octave effect, the Green Ringer has long been a secret weapon for players seeking psychedelic textures, searing leads, and chimey octave color.

Faithfully capturing the original’s character, the Octanaut produces a gritty, organic octave that responds dynamically to your playing and shines when paired with fuzz, distortion, or overdrive pedals. On its own, it delivers clangy, bell-like tones; stacked, it unlocks otherworldly sustain and screaming octave harmonics.

Features:

• Faithful clone of the Dan Armstrong Green Ringer
• Pure analog octave-up effect
• Works great standalone or stacked with fuzz/drive pedals
• True bypass switching
• Boutique-quality build with premium components

From Hendrix-inspired octave tones to experimental soundscapes, the DS Custom Octanaut brings vintage analog octave magic to a modern, pedalboard-friendly format.
