Up for adoption is this beautiful rare Pilot SB-902 bass this is not the regular Pilot bass but the fancier version with neck binding, bound ebony fingerboard, pearl blocks with abalone in the center, flamed maple body and transparent black nitro finish. These originally came with Bartolini but this bass was a special order, the only one ever built of this model and it came with Dimarzio pickups instead.
Since the previous owners had messed with the electronics, I then installed a set of vintage EMG pickups with a LHZ preamp, which is a HAZ clone. This bass has a similar tone to a Brooklynn era Spector now since it's a reverse PJ with the famous preamp clone used at that era. Very fast neck and lightweight bass. A hard case is included with the sale. This is not only cool, great sounding and playing bass, it's the only one lefty ever built of this series.
