Legendary Kawai R-100 (Japan, 1987) rare and vintage 12-bit drum machine!

We are selling this extremely rare and cool Kawai R-100, a super drum machine made in Japan in 1987! Extremely rare and highly collectable!

CONDITION: This KAWAI R-100 drum machine is fully working and in very good cosmetical condition for its age with some cosmetical traces of use. All outputs, pads, buttons, pots are working as they should. As in all R-100s, some buttons sometimes need to be pressed harder, but this is normal with this model. It’s a great sounding 12-bit drum machine! This gem is from 1987 so some aesthetic signs of age are inevitable, but nothing serious for an instrument that is almost 40 years old! This drum machine sounds great and works perfectly! Real vintage gem: grab a super bargain!

Forget about the Roland TR-707 or the Oberheim DMX, the Kawai dominates over these machines for several reasons. First and foremost: the Sound! This box has the absolute deepest digital 12 bit kicks, toms, and snares we have heard in a drum machine. The sound is very deep and ranges from chesty, impact hits to aggressive and biting high's in the hi hat and cymbal department. Aggressive is probably the best word to describe the overall sound and feel of this machine. And if you are a fan of industrial music look no further.
