You know those basses that just ooze history and good vibes? This is one of those!
Made in Japan in 1973, this JB500N (that we've nicknamed "the Bassman" because of the leather patch that was installed by the previous owner) was the Greco model that aimed at replicating Fender's 70's Jazz Bass. Sen ash body with a maple neck and bound maple fingerboard (with block black inlays), it weighs 4.3kg's. Has an aftermarket pair of unknown pickups installed and is missing the pickguard.
Well loved vintage condition as pictured with cosmetic wear and tear as pictured. The neck was adjusted along with a fret polish prior to a professional setup. Currently plays very well with a functional truss and straight neck.
The leather patch is removable, but please don't disrespect The Bassman!
A note for international buyers: Our Reverb shipping quotes for basses and longer guitars are with the neck removed (when possible) to reduce the size of the package. If you'd like to have it shipped with the neck on please contact us for an exact quote via UPS.
