For sale is my beautiful Studer 269 discrete analog recording console in amazing condition. I purchased this console 2 years ago from a very well known producer and since then have performed a full recapping of the console including the master section and power supply. I've owned Neve, Opamp labs, Quad Eight, Trident and Altec consoles and I must say that this Studer is on par with all of the above....these little consoles pack such a powerful punch its unbelievable and is currently configured for up to 20 channels on mix down! All channels are performing to or exceeding factory spec. Every pot, switch and fader performs flawlessly without any intermittency or stray noise. You would be hard pressed to find any vintage console in which this is the case.

This 269 has the following features:

- 10 mono channels with mic/line input, eq, panning, etc
- 4 stereo line input channels with volume and pan pots
- 2 line inputs on the master output channels
- Transformer balanced mic & line level inputs
- 3-Band inductor based EQ (switchable in or out of circuit) with +/- 15dB gain on each band
- High Frequency Shelving band at 10 kHz
- Mid Frequency band is sweepable between 150Hz and 7kHz
- High Frequency Shelving band at 60 Hz
- Polarity reversal on every channel
- High pass filter on every channel
- All discrete preamplifier and EQ stages
- 2 output channels with switchable in/out limiters
- 2 aux (rev) sends
- Headphone (foldback) send
- VU meter bridge with 2 output VUs, 2 limiter VUs, phase correlation VU, plus small VUs for foldback and reverb sends

I will also include a spare channel strip with EQ (for parts)
Also, If buyer is local, he/she is welcome to my 50s tanker desk which i've retrofitted to house the console as seen in the photos.... it looks really great.

In full disclosure, there is slight damage to the chasis on the left rear corner. This happened when the previous owner shipped the console to me and I have clearly documented it in the photos. This does not affect the function of the console however it does prohibit the meter bridge from fitting all the way down into its position. With that said, the meter bridge does still attach in a very snug manner without any problems. I have never had any issues with this whatsoever.

Please feel free to ask any questions you might have.
Thanks for looking!
