Welcome to Musicdungeon. This is the 2011 Epiphone ES230TD John Lennon Inspired Casino electric guitar. 24.75" scale. 1.69" nut width. 16.25" bottom bout. 1 7/8" deep. John Lennon is one of the most respected musicians of all time. Epiphone chose to honor him by created a guitar inspired by Lennon's own Casino. This Casino features a hollowbody design with maple top,back, and sides. The hollow design provides excellent acoustic resonance while the maple adds in some nice note articulation. Dual P90 pickups grab that natural tone and add their famous character. From crystal cleans to neck position warmth to slightly crunchy overdrive- it's all in here. Each pickup has its own volume and tone control so you can really dial in your sound to perfection. Beautiful. The mahogany neck here balances the tone of the maple beautifully. .87" deep at the 5th fret with a C profile- this is the perfect balance between a 50's and 60's neck. Satin finished for a fast feel with the 12" fretboard radius providing effortless bends. The look here is fantastic- sunburst finish, aged body/fingerboard binding, parallelogram inlays, Deluxe style machines, and chrome hardware. This Epiphone is in excellent condition- typical oxidation on the tailpiece/pickup covers, polish swirls, and one small compression on the back binding(pic). Nothing that affectst the performance whatsoever. The frets here are clean- just professionally set up with action of 3/32" at the 12th fret. This auction includes the Epiphone hardshell case.
