Masters Vintage Series are boldly noted by Bosphorus as the embodiment of their philosophy and represents their absolute finest work. These cymbals carry the distinctive colors of the wood-oven. Their thin, hand hammered bell and profile produce a soft, "played-in" feel. Crashes have trashy initial attack, and decays quickly, with a complex fundamental note that works well with the rides. Incredibly expressive rides produce dark, warm, low-pitched cushion of tone. Their ping is mellow, woody, "slap" and have a soft, giving feel when played. A wash of smoky undertones support the stick definition even during up tempo passages. Hats are more versatile, able to do dark and smouldering but also capable of sitting more brightly in the mix. When played half-opened the hi-hats breathe a thick blanket of sound which is clear and articulate more brightly. When closed the chick is pronounced, warm and silvery. These cymbals are perfect for recreating the sound and atmosphere found on jazz, blues, and big band stages and recordings.
Bosphorus cymbals have TWO years warranty against manufacturing flaws, starting from date of the purchase made from Cymbal House which is the authorized dealer of Bosphorus.
