Diamond Halcyon ZB-FR Zoltan Bathory Signature Black Moonrise Electric Guitar

This guitar is based on Diamond’s Halcyon design, a ‘Superstrat’ type with aggressive cutaways and some pretty extreme and eye-catching bevelling. The electronics are quite stripped back: there are master volume and master tone controls and a three-way pickup selector. The ZB Series, spec'd by Zoltan Bathory, has it all. Floyd Rose, Seymour Duncan pickups, ABS Binding, stunning finishes, Flame Maple / Maple combinations with the smooth feel and brilliant tone of an Ebony fingerboard. With custom inlays to boot, it's hard to ask for anything more in a guitar. Bathory’s pickup set of choice is the Seymour Duncan Pegasus and Sentient, a pair of passive humbuckers which were originally designed for 7 and 8-string progressive metal guitarists. They’re moderate in output, the idea being that if you’re going to load them up with mega-gain you’ll retain the clarity and definition of your phrasing and note choices.

Condition: 

• This is a used guitar. 
  
• Physically this unit is in great condition. It shows a small amount of wear from use and age. Wear includes small imperfections and dents, light scratches and scuffs, mostly on the back and sides. Please see photos for further details. 
  
• This guitar has been tested. It is fully functional, the intonation has been checked. The frets are high and smooth!
  
• This guitar has had a minor service. This included:
  
• • Cleaning the neck, buffed and polished frets.
    
  • Pickup height adjusted.
    
  • String height adjusted.
    
  • Switches and pots were cleaned. 
    
  • Brand new Elixir Electric Nano Super Light 9-42 strings have been installed. 
    
• For safety during shipping, tension will be taken off the neck. The guitar will need to be tuned on arrival. 
  
• Please note that although we have tested the intonation and set up the guitar here, due to the nature of guitars as well as the shipping and handling process there is a chance you will need to set up the guitar again. The set up may need to be modified to suit your personal preferences. 
  
• This guitar will ship with a fender guitar strap and whammy / vibrato bar. 
  
• Guitars picked up from our West Gosford store will set up ready to play!
