In the original version ECC83 are used for the phase-splitter driver but we include ECC808 for the fact that the ECC808 was the follow-up development of the ECC83 delivering a much better signal-to-noise ratio.

We also include the industrial version E84L instead of the originally implemented type EL84.

The E84L is the industrial version of the EL84 and can handle a higher plate voltage than the EL84, has longer run time as guarantied 10.000h.

In addition, the tube is mechanically more stable because of triple layers of mica used to assemble the mechanical components of the tube, and can therefore withstand a more rugged handling.
