Throbber is a semi hollowbody telecaster favorite in Japan. Hard to find in the west but worth looking for.
The guitar is made entirely by hand in the Sado Island Custom Shop without computer controlled machinery.
The neck is ESP Sado Island Custom Shop quality. Arguably the best bolt on necks made in the world.
The ESP "Standard Series" are top quality guitars made in Japan. They have a serial number that starts with SS. They are good but not to be confused with The Sado Island guitars. The Custom Shop guitars have a serial number that starts with a single S. With a serial number beginning with "S11..." this Throbber was hand made in 2011. It is in near mint condition except for one finish flaw on the cream coloured binding shown in the photos above.
This hard to find ESP Throbber features an amazing neck and incomparable sound thanks to the ESP Custom shop humbucking pickups.
