This Sennheiser Orpheus combo is in one word AMAZING! The system was build to be the best, cost no object, and was build to perfection. Together with it's elegant design and phenomenal reproduction capabilities it has been the best reference headphone system in the World for over 25 years.

The headphones sound phenomenal. The soundstage is very wide and deep and by using state of the art technology it will reveal details in your music that you have never heard before. This combo even plays the most difficult pieces with great ease, incredible detail and clarity. It has perfect separation and let's you experience your favorite music effortlessly and without listening fatigue.

This particular Orpheus system is from the Original First Batch and was paired with it's corresponding HEV-90 amplifier (see picture).
Sennheiser HE-90 Electrostatic Headphones The HE-90 headphones are in excellent working condition, they sound incredibly good and have been serviced in January 2022. A brand new cable has been installed and the headphones have been fitted with new earpads and a new headpad, making it like new and very comfortable to wear. You can therefore be sure that you will be able to enjoy your headphones for a long time without any service requirements. Optically they also look good with only minimal signs of use. They come with the original wooden Sennheiser case for safe storage and the original brochure (see pictures).

Sennheiser HEV-90 Tube Amplifier The HEV-90 amplifier is in good working condition, the sound is phenomenal and everything works as it should. The amplifier looks good on overall, with a few marks of use on the chrome plating due to use over time. It is a multi-voltage version (110V - 120V or 220V - 240V) which is suitable for Worldwide use. Comes with the original key, a brand new high-end RCA cable, power cable and a service manual (see pictures).
Altogether this is an amazing Headphones system, which offers you the very best in sound, many hours of extremely satisfying listening pleasure and a chance to own the most iconic and legendary reference headphones systems there is.
