A classic, high quality ESP Alexi Laiho (Children Of Bodom) signature model, the Blacky. An instrument with absolutely professional features!
Finish: Metallic Black Satin with gloss black pin stripe & "COBHC" logo on the back. With black nickel hardware. With black pearloid bindings overall (body, neck and headstock) - a very noble looking instrument!
Body: Alder - for best resonance, especially on distorted sounds.
Neck: Maple. Neck-thru-body construction - this enables a very good sustain, and a super easy access to the upper frets.
Scale: 25.5" - Standard.
Fretboard: Ebony, with ESP Custom „Saw Tooth“ inlays.
Frets: 24, XJ (Jumbo) - with a perfect fretjob, another famous feature of ESP instruments.
Nut: FR Locking, 42mm.
Headstock: ESP M-Style, matching the body color.
Tuners: Original Gotoh.
Bridge: Original Floyd Rose tremolo - stays perfectly in tune.
Pickups: 1x EMG HZ-FH2 humbucker with MM-04 preamp booster - delivering all the aggression, high gain and solid tone that Alexi Laiho is well known for, but offering lots of versatility and clarity as well.
Electronics: 1x volume, MM-02 on-off switch.
