Greco Les Paul EG59-50 1983 Cherry Sunburst

Greco Les Paul EG59-50 made in Japan in 1983. A well played example from the best era of the so called Lawsuit guitars. I imported this guitar from Japan in the early 2000s and it was my main gigging guitars for years to come. It is a well playing, great sounding Les Paul with lots of Mojo, I just can't cope with the weight anymore.

Features:

• Typical Les Paul construction  - mahogany body and neck, plain maple top, rosewood fretboard.
• Gibson BB3 in the bridge and DiMarzio Virtual PAF in the neck position. (I will add the pickups that came with the guitar).
• Pots and wiring seems to be original. Tuners are original. Plastic parts seem to be original. I'm not sure about the bridge and tailpiece

Condition:

• No structural damage, no cracks, breaks or repairs
  
• Lot of wear, lot of dings around the body, one particularly large lacquer split under the pickguard.
• All mechanical parts like the tuners and truss rod work well.
• All electronics work well.
• Nut replaced a long time ago.
  
• Frets have a little wear but still a lot of life left in them, no need to refret or level them in the near future.
• Pickup rings are cracked, they still work well.
• There's a little crack in the pickguard but it still together in one piece.
  
• Currently set up with '11s in Open D.
• Pickups that were originally in the guitar are included. These are probably not the original pickups. They look and sound like a period correct copy of DiMarzio Super Distortions. They are a bit microphonic at high volumes.
• The original faux leather gig bag is included. It looks classy but probably not the best gig bag to use for travelling. It is also quite worn, flap on the front pocket is missing.
