Legacy Series Mahalo Amps Hand Wired Katy66 Head

Brand new and built to order from premium components the Legacy Series from Mahalo Amplification offers the full boutique amp experience for discriminating ears.  Built on a custom board and hand wired here in the US. the Legacy series is delivered in a  hand crafted dove-tailed headbox in a variety of colors and custom configurations.    

The Katy66 is a 50 watt medium-high gain amp with master volume. The Katy uses 12AX7 preamp tubes and has a pair of KT66 tubes in the power section for that big-glass sound.

The Katy66 offers gain similar to a JCM 800 but with our own tone stack that offers you sculpt a wide spectrum of tones and gain levels.  The master volume and presence controls make it easy to control your volume without sacrificing your tone.  Big round bottom end, sweet highs, and classic mids on tap to help you dial in a wide range of guitar tones.  




The cascaded gain and wide tonal range make this a very usable amp onstage and in the studio.  A very dynamic preamp lets you control your gain with the guitar volume or dial in a cleaner tone and stomp your favorite pedals.
