JB Trembucker

Summary

Trembucker spaced version of the legendary JB Model that has been the ultimate hot rodded humbucker for nearly four decades. A truly modern classic.

Description

This is the Trembucker (F-spaced) version of the JB Model humbucker. Designed in the early 70s, the JB Model humbucker adds juice to the bridge position of any humbucker equipped instrument. With its hot coils, and alnico 5 bar magnet, this pickup delivers an unmistakable upper midrange attack, a tight, articulate low end, and harmonically rich highs that can really sing. The JB is the perfect bridge pickup for anything from blues & country to the meanest hard rock & metal. Pair with the Jazz neck model for the ultimate Hot Rodded humbucker set.Trembuckers have wider pole piece spacing, perfect for symmetrical positioning under the strings of guitars with a tremolo or wide spaced hard tail bridge (2 or wider from the center of the Low E to High E directly over the bridge pickup). Hand built in our Santa Barbara, CA factory, the JB Trembucker uses an alnico 5 bar magnet, nickel silver bottom plate, 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and is vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance.

Our slightly overwound Vintage Hot Stack Plus design delivers authentic tone with a touch more warmth, sustain, and sweetness.

Description

The Vintage Hot Stack Plus is designed for the player who wants a little beefier tone, but does not want a high output pickup. The tone is bright and bouncy, but with just a little more of everything. Chords will feel more powerful, and single notes will ring through with just a bit more authority than they would with a vintage output single coil. This pickup is designed to look like a traditional single coil, and works great in neck, middle, or bridge position. And its dead quiet Back in the 80s we patented a special bottom coil that actually injects negative hum into the pickup circuit and at the end of the production process, we fine tune each pickup for maximum noise cancellation. Pair with our Custom Stack Plus Strat Black Classic Stack Plus Strat – bridge Black Classic Stack Plus Strat – middle Black Hand made in Santa Barbara, CA, the Custom Stack Plus uses alnico 5 rod magnets, a tappable 3-conductor lead wire, and is wax potted for squeal free operation.


STK-S4

RWRP Stack that yields a classic noiseless 2 & 4 quack when split and combined with two other Stack Plus pickups.

Description

The Classic Stack Plus middle pickup looks and sounds like a true single coil but none of the traditional hum. It has all of the sparkle and chime that you would expect from a vintage pickup. We build it RWRP to give you that perfect in-between sound of positions 2 & 4 when split. It has a special bottom coil that actually injects negative hum into the pickup circuit, and, at the end of the production process, we fine tune each pickup for maximum noise cancellation. You get all the great qualities of a classic pickup, and none of the hum. Pair with our Stack Plus bridge and neck for a complete set. Hand built in Santa Barbara, CA, it uses hand ground alnico 5 rod magnets, and comes with a splittable 3-conductor lead wire to give you access to true single coil operation. Each is wax potted for squeal free performance.
