Edwards Les Paul - TV Yellow JR - MIJ - Junior

This is an early 2000 Edwards E-JR-85, made in japan.  It's got a solid one piece mahogany body, one piece mahogany neck with nice long/deep neck tenon and rosewood board. Nitro lacquer finish with slight relicing. It has the look, vibe and feel of an old 59 without the enormous price tag. I also upgraded the pick guard to a nice vintage spec, celluloid tortoise guard (Purchased from Mojoaxe online). The tuners have also been upgraded to a set of japanese Gotoh sealed machines. These guitars came stock with a bone nut and a Seymour Duncan P90 (I think its the SP90-1 model). The electronics/wiring have been upgraded to vintage style fabric leads with CTS pots and an a "black bee" oil and paper cap. All the work was done by a great local luthier and is very pro. Again, the finish has been relic'd, dull down and patina'd. All the relicing is very well done and looks believable. The neck on these is very 59'esque and feels a lot like a real 59 junior i have. It's a very comfortable, slightly chunky c shape. Weighs in at exactly 7lbs on my digital shipping scale. Has had very recent recent setup w/10's and guitar is playing great. Neck is straight and truss rod works perfectly.  Frets are in great shape with lots of life left in them (90%). All removed (original) parts will be supplied. This is a discontinued Edwards model and even Gibs*n hasn't made a lot of these over the years. Double cut TV juniors are hard to find period. This one is very reasonably priced and it's got a very cool vibe. Sorry doesn't come with a hard case. I pack well and insure.
