Universum Senator Super 8800 Boombox Ghettoblaster Portable Stereo Radio Made in Germany

Universum Senator Super 8800 CTR2108 Boombox in very good condition. 

It has 3 different stereo modes + mono. UKW (FM), KW, MW, LW radio. 4 channels programming.
Digital timer function.  Built-in condenser mic.  External speaker outputs. And I guess the din sockets on the side are line in / aux in.

Technical condition:
Cassette deck and radio functions are both working well. Speakers are sound loud & clear.
Few things to mention:
1. In radio mode the digital display of the frequency does not stop. Hard to explain with words, please watch the video. But the radio is working well and tuning clean the whole FM range (called UKW in German).
2.  I was not able to power it on using batteries. I think I'm using the right 1.5V R20 batteries but maybe I'm doing something wrong. 

Cosmetic condition: Has some minor signs of usage but in very good condition for its age.
