Interesting Roland item:  Mark IV of their series of Sound Canvas keyboards, based on the GS-midi of their SC-50/SC-55 series.  This SK-50iv has plenty of those quality Roland sounds of that generation, including drum kits.  Comes with compatible power supply (not original but fits fine, correct specs and enough power).

The SK-50iv has a couple of noteworthy features:
- the FAT button!  it sounds like it adds a sub-osc as well as thickening.  However it does it, the patch does indeed sound a lot FATTER!  Such sounds can find a home even in todays' techno productions.  Tho' there's no FAT option on the drum sounds.

- using the lowest black keys to summon pitch-bend & modulation adds a different kind of expressive play to what we're normally used to, quite moreish.

- onboard speakers, tho' honestly these don't sound great.  Best to use the outputs.

Condition:  all works as it should (speakers, keys etc), the housing has various wear & tear, even a couple of smaller cracks (see pics).  The master-volume will only scratch if not used in ages, and then only a couple of times back-and-forth, after that it doesn't scratch.

Notes on use:

- the RCA-outputs don't use the master-volume-slider, so they have a fixed amp-volume-out.  If you don't watch your levels the signal can distort easily.  Personally we thought the module sounded better using a 6.3mm Y-cable going out of "PHONES-1": it was slightly noisier but more airy, more defined, and fit better in the mix.  Using the phones-out means the master-volume-slider is active, you only need it set between 2-3 to get a clear strong signal.
-  the "VARIATION" button comes into play for Bank 16 and the drum banks.
- the onboard Reverb/Chorus are ok, but for serious productions we would leave them off and use your preferred outboard/plugs.

About us:
we are a business seller, experienced studio-musicians who know the gear well as we generally keep & use them a while before selling.  We always aim to describe the item in full detail so buyers don't get any unpleasant surprises.

Postage: we always send with DHL-insured/tracked, and we re-use packaging (used boxes, newspapers etc but nothing dirty or unhygienic). The device itself will be wrapped to protect it from packaging dust, and will be wriggle-free to ensure safe transport. We send worldwide, buyer pays postage and any eventual customs charges.

Right-to-return: You have 14 Days after receipt to return us the item if you don't want to keep it (buyer pays return postage). As vintage music-studio equipment shouldn't be bought on a whim, we ask buyers to carefully consider their purchase. But if you really do want to return: then the item must reach us well-packaged and in the same condition we sent it for the buyer to qualify for a full refund. If you discover a problem with the item which we didn't describe, then in this case we will pay the return postage.

Guarantee: there is no manufacturer's/dealer-warranty on these items (unless otherwise stated). These are often vintage items, tho' we do warrant for up to 12 months after purchase that our descriptions are accurate (Germany: 12-Monate Gewährleistungspflicht für Gebrauchtgeräte).

VAT: we don't charge VAT, so your invoice won't include it
(Germany: Differenzbesteuerung gem §25a Umsatzsteuergesetz).
