Very rare Special Edition Japan Aero Strat for sale at Guitar Garage London. These unique carved top Stratocasters were made as part of a Special Aerodyne Series for only a few years and are top-shelf guitars, highly sought after by collectors. The vast majority of the Aerodyne Japan Stratocasters come in either black or white and have a pickguard. This special edition is the rarest of them all - the version without the pickguard!

Piano black finish looks gorgeous, complemented by the cream top binding, that is SO rare on any kind of Stratocaster. The top and the back is carved and curvy, making this a true piece of art. Maple neck has a fast C-shape and very lovely rosewood fretboard with 9,5-inch radius and Kluson slotted tuners and clay dot markers.

Guitar comes in played condition with plenty of surface wear on the top and buckle rash on the back of the body and some small dings on the edges. At the same time neck has minimal wear and beautiful flamey maple figuring.

This Strat has also received a high spec upgrade with Fender USA Samarium Cobalt Noiseless pickups - so no more annoying single-coil hum, just pure tone! Original bridge saddles have been upgraded with Graphtech frictionless saddles for maximum tuning stability.

This instrument received a full professional setup with deep body clean, body polish, neck deep clean, lemon oil rosewood fretboard treatment, full electronics check, truss-rod and action and intonation adjustment. Restringed with Fender 10-46 Nickel-plated steel strings.
