Fender Hot Rod Deluxe 1997-2002 Black Made in USA Jensen C12-n

Fender Hot Rod Deluxe from approximately 1997-2002.  I am the original owner, but I'm not sure when I bought it exactly.

This amp was manufactured in the USA unlike the post 2002 amps.
This amp is LOUD at 40W!  Too loud for nighttime home use with a house full of kids which is why I am selling it and downsizing!

The amp is in very good condition.  It has spent most of its life in my smoke free house, with a few jams here and there (also smoke free).  No rips or tears in the tolex.  No dents.  Just some stray fibers in the speaker cloth from a cat who decided to use it like a scratching post.

Last year I had it professionally serviced to check the tubes, and in an effort to tame the volume.
The linear potentiometer which was used for the volume control was replaced by an audio taper pot.  This makes the lower digits of volume less sensitive to changes and is how most volume knobs (including the current hot rod deluxe III) are setup.  I believe that he also did a tweak to the reverb circuit, but I don't really hear the difference.

Now to tame the volume, I replaced the speaker with a better, but less efficient Jensen C12n.  (Google speaker efficiency vs volume if you want to learn more.)  If you want the old fender speaker I still have it.

I also replaced the first preamp tube with a 12AY7 (stock is 12AX7) which reduces the output.  This is completely reversible and takes 1 minute to do.  It is a very useful way to reduce the amount of gain the the preamp.  Right now it is approximately equivalent to a 22W amp like a Deluxe Reverb, but a quick 1 minute tube swap and you are back at 40 W.  I'll include the tube if you want it.
As this amp is heavy and big, I have to charge something to ship it.
