Squier by Fender Vintage Modified 70's Stratocaster Neck, Maple, CBS Headstock

49 years old with a baby on the way... I gotta clean house, LOL!

For sale is a 2017 Squier by Fender Vintage Modified 70's Stratocaster Neck, Maple, CBS Headstock. 

This neck came off a buddies guitar, he wanted rosewood and left me the neck as part of the payment for mounting the new neck. This neck is near perfect. The finish and the frets are pristine. The only issue (if you want to call it that) is that it has been modified to accept diecast tuners (with ferrule nuts and an offset ear for a screw, like a Gotoh, Grover, etc.). The work was done well enough, no splits, cracks etc. This means either 1. you use diecast machines (the Kluson screw hole will show) OR 2. you use Klusons (you will need conversion bushing and the offset screw hole will show). It's nice to have options though, right?

Here are the features of this neck;

• 25.5" scale w/21 medium frets on a 9.5" radius fretboard
• Comfortable 'C' neck profile
• 'CBS' era style headstock (though this is labeled 70's, this headstock style first saw the light of day in '66)
• Headstock adjust truss rod w/4mm hex nut (no need to unbolt the neck)
• Cyclovac nut
• String trees for D&G, B&E
• 4 bolt mounting

Truss rod works perfectly. Neck has relief with no truss rod tension and can be flattened or backbowed with the rod. All measurements taken with notched straightedge. 

Finish is flawless and I cannot see any fretwear. They shine like new. 

Depending on who you are, like dig this headstock or you hate it. Considering you are viewing this, I will assume you dig it. This headstock was the style you saw on players like Trower, Hendrix, Blackmore... even The Edge... I have grown to appreciate this more over the years.
