A masterful custom 0001A from Collings in Austin, TX. We ordered this with a specially chosen set of Flamed Honduran Mahogany back and sides paired with an Adirondack SPruce sunburst top. Custom Adirondack braces were a must under the hood to match the lightness and stiffness of the top for maximum tonal clarity. Topped with custom Abalone Pearl torch headstock inlay and rosette, fully bound with Tortoise bindings and highlighted by the custom binding and purfling fretboard inlay, this timeless 12 fret 000 has all the right features in all the right places. A comfortable custom 1 3/4″ nut width on the slotted headstock Honduran Mahogany neck make this a very comfortable guitar to play. Warm and balanced tone with lots of rounded low end and clear and crisp mids and highs. A great hybrid guitar for fingerstyle, flatpicking and strumming.

We do our best to give quality pictures and factual descriptions of our instruments to ensure your piece of mind when buying. If you decide to return the instrument, you are responsible for all shipping costs both ways. Our initial shipping cost and your shipping fee. You need to have it shipped within the 48 hour window secured in the original packaging to Down Home Guitars via Fed Ex or UPS insured for the full price of the instrument. Upon receiving the instrument back in the same condition it left, we will promptly refund you the total amount minus our shipping cost.
A requested delay in shipping by the customer will (unless agreed upon in writing) void trial period and return policy. There are no returns on international sales.
