Nicks, cracks, dents, or dings on this rare pair of 12"s! They're in GREAT SHAPE with just some light wear to the VFX finish.

One literary drum forumite described these as "Chi-Hats," presumably because of their China-Boy/Hihat Hybrid status.

Weighing in at a trippy 706 for the China-type Top Cymbal and 1272  for the "Regular" Bottom Cymbal, these VFX Distortion Hats play like no cymbals I've ever seen...or heard. These Hats are out there, man.  They're very hard to describe because I have never heard another pair of hihats quite like them. They have an intrinsic...slightly trashy vibe-compliments of the China-like Top, but they remain bright and focused. I guess that's the "Distortion" part. Really cool, psychedelic hihats.

You can use these Sabian VFX Distortion Hats on whatever your heart's desire. I believe they were originally produced for techno, electronic, and loops and samples. But with a Hihats like these, the only limit is your imagination. They're a definite head turner.
