Hand wired, point to point, replacement or upgrade wiring harness for a Fender Jaguar electric guitar with Volume , Tone, and Input Jack. This can also be used for Squier or other Asian made Jaguar design guitars. (Please mail us if you are unsure of what you require in regards to component size etc)
This is the main lower section of the wiring harness. If you require the full harness upgrade please mail us for your specific needs and price.

Wired with “treble bleed” volume control.
Only top of the line and professional grade components are used. You can be confident in both the longevity and most importantly the performance of these parts.
There are NO wiring shortcuts!
Vital connections that are prone to break or short out, such as the switch or input jack, are insulation wrapped after soldering. There is also a deliberate amount of extra length left between wired connections. Insuring that the harness will fit correctly and that the components and connections will not break from being overly tight.
All harnesses are “real world” tested upon completion, assuring you it will be 100% in both quality and operation.

-Switchcraft USA - 1/4" Mono Input Jack
THE industry standard for input jacks with a long and proven track record. EVERY time you plug in your lead you will know it has the strength and reliability to hold. Most importantly it will not fail on you with frustrating crackles and loss of signal.

-Sprague USA .01 mfd Orange Drop Tone Capacitor
Sprague Capacitors have a well renowned, 50+ years, reputation for reliability, stability, and consistency in tone with no microphonics. They are a polypropylene and aluminium foil capacitor with orange flame retardant epoxy shell.

-CTS USA 1 Meg Audio Taper Volume Pot
Split Shaft, 1 Meg Audio Taper, 6 mm Split Shaft, US (imperial) 9.5 mm thread and 24 spline, with 1 x nut, 1x lock washer, and 1 x dress washer

-CTS USA 1 Meg Audio Taper Tone Pot
Split Shaft, 1 Meg Audio Taper, 6 mm Split Shaft, US (imperial) 9.5 mm thread and 24 spline, with 1 x nut, 1x lock washer, and 1 x dress washer

-56k Allen Bradley 1/4 watt Carbon Comp resistor – Tone Pot
An Allen Bradley Carbon Comp resistor is used for the addition of “warmth” in tone. This is not going to change the world in your overall sound. It will however add a subtle difference that cold sounding modern made metal resistors cannot achieve

-Vintage Cloth Wire
Quality thick, 22 Gauge, cotton braided, wax insulated, vintage style, pull back wire used between components.

120k Allen Bradley 1/4 watt Carbon Comp resistor
A “Treble Bleed” circuit is added to the volume pot/s to improve taper and remove the unbalanced roll off. This keeps your clean tones clean and the high end frequencies consistent when turning the volume up and down through 1-10. This is the perfect upgrade if you use manual volume swell as an effect. Or if you are using your guitar volume pot to react with and against overdrive, distortion, or fuzz effect pedals.

IMPORTANT POINTS TO NOTE:
- Switches - Do not include tips (unless otherwise described).
- Pots – Do not include knobs (unless otherwise described).
- Listing photos are stock photos for advertising. The harness you receive will have the exact top of line parts as per photos/description. The workmanship will be of the same highest quality with all parts thoroughly tested.
- The majority of all components are US (imperial) measurement parts. CTS pots require a 3/8"" hole diameter. For metric /import guitars and basses you will generally need to widen mounting holes. Import/metric knobs and switch tips will/may not fit correctly and will possibly need to be replaced.
- Depending on the thickness of control plates or body cavities you may need to add an extra washer or two on the inside of the pot thread to lower the overall height of the pot knob.
- The harness will be delivered fully soldered, including switches and jacks. To run through body cavities, jacks and switches may/will need to be de-soldered and re-soldered.
- Metal base plates used in the advertised images are for advertising photos only and not included in the purchased wiring harness.
- All harnesses are wired in a “modern” style. If you require a 50’s style wiring (or any other alterations) please message IMMEDIATELY after purchase. Otherwise your harness will be posted within 24hrs (on average) and it will be too late to make changes.
- We are ALWAYS available to help if you get stuck. If you run into any issue when soldering your new harness to your existing pickups/switches/ground wires please make mail us. Harnesses are always tested and are 100% correct and without fault. Generally if you experience a problem when installing it will be due to a short/earthing/backwards soldering issue. We can talk you through the correct wiring!

--- Cosmetically, items are as per detailed photos and/or descriptions. Functionally, all pots, jacks, switch and machinery components are working without issue, and serviced upon arrival. Each item is tested and/or serviced/set up before listing. It is also tested again moments before packaging, after purchase, to insure it is 100%.
---Guitars and basses are set up with action at a standard with no playability issues, unless otherwise described. However please understand no one set-up is right for everybody. If you prefer a different action height/tuning/string gauge please adjust at your own liking. Please also realise that almost all items are used, and most are 20-30+ year vintage instruments/effects. They will exhibit some wear and tear. If you need detailed specifics, extra information/on the bench specs can be given about anything you require. Please do not hesitate to ask if this is necessary.
--- No refund will be given for change of mind. There will be no warranty or refund given other than dead on arrival, broken, or faulty that is NOT already described and outlined in the descriptive text and detailed photos. In the HIGHLY unlikely event, there is damage in transit, a postal/courier insurance claim will be made to recover the cost of damage. However, we are always happy to help and work through any issue, in the rare event that one arises.

--- FREE delivery is offered on ALL items – Australia only. International delivery can be arranged at exact cost.
--- We proudly strive to send out all orders within 24 hours of purchase and/or receiving cleared payment (apart from holidays and weekends). However please allow up to 72hrs for packing and courier pickups. Once your item is packed you will receive notification and relevant tracking number and courier/postal details.
--- Small items such as effect pedals and wiring harnesses are sent via Australia Post standard service, with tracking ONLY. No responsibility will be taken from us for the loss or damage of an item by Australia Post. At your request, signature upon delivery or postal insurance can be added for the additional cost.
--- ALL guitars are sent via courier delivery with full insurance, tracking, and signature upon delivery services.
--- As they are courier delivered, guitars can NOT be sent to a PO Box, Parcel Locker, or Parcel Collect service. They must be sent to a physical address, where someone can sign for the item on arrival.
--- International delivery is possible for most items, however there are some restrictions with regions and package size. Please contact us first BEFORE making any purchase to check if an item can be delivered, and to organise the actual delivery costs. Any applicable customs, duties, or taxes that your country may charge is solely the responsibility of you the buyer. Any questions you may have about this should be directed to your local countries authorities.
--- All items are packed to the highest degree for transit. A great amount of pride and detail goes into making sure every item arrives without issue. Pedals and small items are packed in multiple layering of bubble wrap and double corrugated shipping cardboard. Guitars, pending the instrument, have strings de tuned so there is no tension on the neck and headstock. Neck/body /headstock are wrapped separately in multiple bubble wrap layers, high density foam and/or cardboard reinforced. If applicable it is then placed in gig/soft case or hard case. If in gig/soft case it is once again bubble wrapped/foam reinforced before being boxed. Each package/box is custom cut and fit in heavy duty double corrugated shipping cardboard. All voids are padded out and the body edge, base, and top of head stock foam reinforced/padded. Finally, the boxing will have copious amounts of high visibility “Fragile” and “This way up” warning labels. We are also proudly environmentally friendly, recycling as much bubble wrap, foam, and cardboard packaging material as possible with every delivery in and order out.
