About the EMG David Gilmour DG20 set - David Gilmour is recognized the world over for his revolutionary and incomparable sound with the legendary Pink Floyd and his work as a solo artist. When you hear the tones coming out of his red Strat® you're hearing his signature EMG Pro Series system: the DG20. This set utilizes our white Alnico loaded SA single coil pickups, an EXG Guitar Expander for increased treble and bass frequencies, and an SPC presence control to enhance your Strat's earthiness and mid-range. The system comes prewired on a custom 11-hole Black 3-ply pickguard with white knobs for easy installation.
Why is it Special Edition?
The regular EMG-DG20 set throws together ivory coloured EMG SA pickups with a white pearloid scratchplate, the Special Edition set aims to be closer to the look of David Gilmour's Black Strat by incorporating WHITE EMG SA pickups with a 3-ply BLACK scratchplate.
Is this a new DG20 Special Edition set?
Yes. It is brand new, un-preloved, in its original box/packaging and has all parts and instructions.
Why is it B-Stock?
The outer box has damage to the front plastic cover and the pickguard has slight scuffing and scratching to the front, between the bridge and middle pickups (shown in image). The pickups, preamps and electronics are all unaffected and work perfectly.
