one used vintage genuine Boss DIST (VR2) pot potentiometer from for DF2 pedal DF-2, M250k A, 1980'S

This listing is for ONE used vintage genuine Boss DIST (distortion) pot (potentiometer) for / from DF2 (Super Feedbacker & Distortion / Super Distortion & Feedbacker) pedal 1980s.

The is the pot that goes on the third spot (going left to right) of a Boss DF2 pedal for the DIST control (it is the DIST control).

On the pedal that it came off of -- this pot (potentiometer) is marked VR2 and DIST (on the circuit board). The DIST pot itself has two markings: 51L  and   M250k A 

For reference only:  the small circuit board with the pots should be marked like this (or at least that is what is on my pedal that this part came off of):  

The pictures of the circuit board are shown for reference only (No other parts are included). You can see the pot next to the small circuit board and the info on the small circuit board. And in the pictures you can see that this pot is for the DIST position control of a DF2 pedal (the circuit board is marked DF2).

The shaft on this pot is split shaft with ridges.

This DIST pot has a little wear from age and use and from handling. The ridges on the shaft has a couple of tiny & very small nicks (more visible in the pictures than they appear in person). The back side has a few short / light scratches. The top side of the shaft has a reddish / orange color marking. The ends / feet have some solder on them.

The split shaft is fine. It is straight and it turns fine.

The insides of the pots do not make a noise when you turn it. Turns fine.

Please do NOT try to open or close the gap on the split shaft stem too much because one side or both sides might snap off. If your knob is loose on the stem just put a small piece of duct or masking tape around the stem to allow your knob to get a better grip on the stem. If your knob fits too tight on the shaft - gently press the knob down on the shaft.  

This pot should work fine -  but it was not tested. It is not my intention to sell you a non functioning item. But since the pedal that it was on was not powering on - I just do not know for sure it it is functioning. If you do have a problem with this item not working correctly (not because you messed it up) - please let me know / message me.  

As mentioned above- the small DF-2 circuit board shown in the first two pictures are shown for example / reference and to verify that this is an actual Boss potentiometer (pot) from a DF2 pedal.

In case you are wondering I am taking apart the DF-2 pedal and will be listing the parts little by little on REVERB. If there is a part that you are interested in - message me to discuss price(s) and to arrange a transaction. Also in case you are wondering the NON working DF-2 pedal that this item was taken off of is made in Japan from 1985. It is NOT part of this listing - and as I just stated - I will eventually sell the casing and other parts in the days to come.

In case you are wondering - I NO longer have the OVER TONE pot.

Please message me if you decide to also get the LEVEL pot and or the TONE pot. This way I can a new listing and send you pictures of it / of them). The shipping / packaging cost will not increase if you buy more than one potentiometer (pot). You would just pay for the additional pot(s).
