Here we have the actual very last USA Washburn Dimebolt EVER BUILT! The guitar was signed on its back plate by Zakk Wylde at his 50th Anniversary of Black Sabbath show on the 50th birthday of the album's release in Birmingham, UK! This was the most iconic model from the brand Dimebag used during the 90's and 2000's right up until his tragic murder on stage that made headlines around the world. Dime signed a deal with Dean mere days before his death in December 2004 and never actually got to see or play any of the new Dean models that would later be released in 2005. The exact terms of the endorsement deals with Washburn and Dean are unknown to the general public, but both rival brands built signature models in the first quarter of 2005 with Washburn having a March 31st deadline and building its last ever Dimebolt and Southern Cross Custom Shop examples during this time. There were a few variations between models with some getting the ultra rare "black back" such as this example.

This is the very last Dimebolt (Serial # 0503050) to ever leave the Washburn factory! Its value to collectors and super fans cannot be understated. Dimebag Darrell was the defining virtuoso guitarist globally for the entire decade of the 90's using this model in this finish.
