ARP Quadra

We are lucky to get this gem to sell through Reverb. It is a vintage synth. I am thinking around early 1970. It is incredibly cool with all of the tools needed to create some amazing sounds. You start with the oscillators shape them through the filter and then pass through the (VCA) voltage control amplifier. Every stage of this machine is completely editable. And as often the case with these machine, Just the suddelest movement of the slider or knobs will have a vast impact on the sound.
The guys that brought this in and are still the owners of this Arp, had spent a few hundred dollars to have it serviced. However after my inspection, I noticed that the button that engages the strings sections does not appear to work. There are a few cosmetic issues that I have shown in the pictures. Mainly the corners and one key that has been glued back together. We have seen this machine sell for $8000 in a totally restored condition. As far as I can tell right now it is only the strings that have an issue. I will continue to explore the belly of the beast (so to speak). and find out as much as I can, and I will add to the copy if any other issues arise. As you can tell it is quite complicated and there are many sections to test. 
One thing I can tell you is that this is one incredible machine. I wish I could afford to keep it.
