Kenwood KD-2070 Direct Drive Turntable

Up for sale here is a really nice Kenwood KD-2070 Direct Drive Turntable. The KD-2070 is a fully manual turntable, so it should be very reliable and is preferred by most audiophiles because of the lack of mechanical or electrical issues to interfere with the sound production. This series of Kenwood tables is really well made with a wood plinth (with vinyl covering), a very heavy platter and a nice s-shaped tonearm. All the controls work well and the speed control on this table is very solid. I've paired this table with a nice vintage ADC cartridge with a brand new stylus. I love ADC cartridges and use one on my main table. A very clean neutral sound with good highs and lows. Cosmetically this table is in good shape except for the dust cover. This table has more than the average dings and scratches. I did a quick polish to bring up the shine but there are plenty of bruises left as I attempted to show in the pictures. The cover is still perfectly presentable and does not have any cracks. I'll package this turntable to make sure it gets to you safely.
