I bought this from Vintage King in Nashville a couple years ago. This is fantastic compressor for just about anything. Vocals, bass, guitars. I hate to let it go but I need the funds for a larger purchase. I paid $1495 for it from VK.
Vintage API 525 compressor/limiter. Thick and punchy sounding. Features include a de-esser and these adjustable settings:

Along with all the typical uses of a compressor/limiter, the 525 is one of the best bass compressors on the planet. Excellent for long extended bass release times, (comparable to the infamous DBX 160vu). Rewired to fit conventional 550a wiring slots.
