This is a unique opportunity own an instrument made for and played by the Artist. Ernie Ball does not make custom instruments for the public, this part of their business is set aside for endorsed artists.
Mark Holcomb of Periphery and Haunted Shores had this guitar commissioned in a very nice Silverburst Sparkle finish. The guitar also features a set of Prototype pickups designed for Mark prior to the release of the Seymour Duncan Alpha/Omega pickups. Also equipped with the regular features of a JPX, it has a roasted Birdseye Maple neck with a gorgeous figure on it and an Ebony board.
Another unique feature, is there is a custom block made by Ernie Ball used to lock off the Tremolo and turn the instrument into a hardtail. This can be reverted by ordering a trem claw + springs directly from Ernie Ball, but Mark had this installed since he doesn't use a Tremolo on his guitars.
Condition: This guitar was played both in the studio during the recording process of Juggernaut but also toured Live for awhile. It is in very good shape, and it only has 2 small impressions on the back of the neck and one very tiny nick between the E and A tuners on the headstock (Pictured). There is no fretwear due to the stainless steel fretwire, and the body has no damage at all.
I have purchased a brand new SKB Ernie Ball Case to fit the guitar, and it comes with this and a Signed Backplate.
Thanks for looking!
