Remo Ambassador SMT Ebony Bass Drumhead

The Ambassador SMT Ebony is a pre-muffled bass drumhead featuring Sub Muffl Technology (SMT). This head is a new industry standard, offering one of the most musical and versatile pre-muffled sounds on the market—perfect for both live performance and recording applications.

Advanced SMT Dampening Technology

Remo’s SMT technology provides a controlled sound without sacrificing the drum's natural character:

• Externally Mounted Profile: Features a dampening system with free-floating acoustic foam, allowing the head and shell to maintain their full resonance.
• Ebony Construction: Built with a single-ply 10-mil Ebony film, providing a sleek aesthetic and a unique sonic footprint.
• Tonal Control: Specifically designed to control high and mid frequencies while accentuating deep, powerful low tones.

Musical Versatility and Punch

The SMT Ebony is engineered to deliver a broad tonal spectrum across various tuning ranges:

• Enhanced Attack: Provides additional attack and low-end punch, ensuring your kick drum cuts through the mix with authority.
• Broad Tuning Range: Maintains musicality whether tuned low for a deep thud or higher for more melodic applications.
• Size Availability: Available in a full range of sizes from 16" to 24".

Choose the Ambassador SMT Ebony for a professional, "mic-ready" bass drum sound that balances aggressive punch with sophisticated musicality.
