A beautiful, classic open-back banjo from Mark Platen’s former American banjo workshop, likely made in the 1990s. Great two-piece neck in curly maple with fancy inlays!
The Troubadour model comes with a brass tone ring, Fiberskyn head, adjustable tailpiece, new bridge, and planetary tuners.
Length 94 cm, scale length 66 cm, nut width 32 mm, skin diameter 11"
The banjo shows only minimal signs of age and wear and comes ready to play in a used but high-quality Superior case. There is a barely visible restoration on the neck (see photos), which is why the instrument is being offered at a very attractive price.
