Fender Jazzmasters for Sale on Reverb

Originally introduced in 1958, the Jazzmaster was Fender's first full-sized offset guitar, with a body shape intended to appeal to seated jazz guitarists. Though the model didn't catch on with that crowd, the unique-looking Jazzmaster did become a go-to for surf guitarists in the '60s and has remained a popular choice for rockers and punk players ever since. (The guitars also lend themselves nicely to modifications.)

Today, there are plenty of new and used Jazzmaster models worth the money. If you're looking to buy a new, budget-friendly Jazzmaster, you should consider Squier's Vintage Modified Jazzmaster or the ever-popular J Mascis Signature Jazzmaster. Fender has made its own affordable versions like the Made-in-Mexico Classic Player Jazzmaster.

You can also find a great selection of slightly more expensive American-made Jazzmasters like the American Professional Jazzmaster or American Professional II Jazzmaster, or the high-end American Ultra Jazzmaster. For the money, some of the best on the used market are the discontinued American Vintage '62 or American Vintage '65 Reissue Jazzmasters.
