Overview
Deviating from many of Taylor's acoustic guitars, the Taylor 512 grand concert acoustic guitar has sported both a Western Red Cedar top, which imbues warmth into your guitar's tone and is better suited to players with a softer strumming style, and a spruce top, which is well-matched with more aggressive strummers. Tropical mahogany is has been used with both tops to give the 512 an earthy, dry sound.
