This is an 1983 Squier Contemporary Stratocaster, made in Japan. It's an incredible guitar, I am just finding that I prefer Gibson's scale length. I bought this off of Reverb last year, and have used it for a few gigs since. Otherwise it's lived in my studio. It plays excellently, and works perfectly.For it's age, the guitar is in very good condition. There is a paint chip on the one side of the body but not noticeable when playing. Couple other small indents and mark on body and headstock tip. The neck is fast and super smooth, leaning more towards a D profile, I think it is a 10" radius, based on internet spec research. Very comfortable neck with a dark rosewood board and great action. Pickups - Bridge is the original Squier Dragstar and sounds great. The Middle is Dimarzio DP 402 and Neck is a Seymour Duncan APH 1N. This is a great combination with a master volume and master tone. Rad tones abound.The guitar will be shipped in an era correct hardshell case that needs some hinges work. It'll work great for shipping but will need some TLC for taking to gigs.
