About this listing
Sabian Pro Sonix 21”/53cm Ride CymbalAt one time, I had the complete line of the Pro Sonix cymbals. An amazing sound scape. Made with more Tin in the mix than most cymbals and a very unique profile gave them an aggressive attack with great sustain. A European musician really wanted the set and made me an offer I couldn’t refuse. In hind sight, I should have kept them-I digress. This is the KING KONG of ride cymbals! It weighs in at seven (7) pounds and has volume that can crush walnuts. Dark tone, very long sustain and the bell has a cow bell like tone. I would say that it’s suited for Heavy Metal. If you have a light hand, it may work for other rock genre, but it’s so aggressive, probably not.Buy with confidence knowing that the item(s) for sale is as described.
