These are no longer in production and were part of Recording King’s top-of-the-line flagship Tonewood Reserve Elite series in the not-so-distant past. Beautiful sound and fantastic quality. Includes original factory box. The Recording King RO-342 evokes a classic acoustic style, sound & volume thanks to hand-selected tonewoods and vintage styling similar to that of a 000-42 Martin!The foundation of the 342’s tone comes from solid Adirondack spruce tops that has been naturally aging for the past 30 years. Adirondack’s excellent projection, coupled with three decades of curing delivers a stiff, loud, lightweight top with powerful fundamental tone. Very powerful in the midrange as well as the bass response, and the trebles are clear and solid.
